Hosting the EULAR 2024 in Vienna was a great success. Vienna proved to be an outstanding meeting destination and a strong attraction for delegates. As organiser, we valued the collaboration with the VIECON Team, the city accessibility, the political stability, efficient public transportation, and the close proximity of hotels to the convention centre.

In 2026, the European Geosciences Union (EGU) is holding its 20th Annual Scientific Meeting in Vienna, marking a long-standing and successful collaboration with the Vienna Convention Bureau and Austria Center Vienna. Every year, Vienna welcomes our participants, who appreciate the city’s unique atmosphere, efficient public transport system, cultural heritage, multicultural environment and green spaces along the Danube.
