Culinary social programs in Vienna

Below, we present four ideas to add a culinary dimension to your event. Discover more social programs.

Pralines and chocolate workshop

At the Xocolat Manufaktur in Vienna's Servitenviertel, professional chocolatiers guide participants through the art of chocolate-making. Attendees learn how to temper chocolate and craft their own pralines and chocolate bars - all while enjoying sparkling wine from Vienna's own vineyards. The workshop accommodates groups of 6 to 15 people.

Luxury picnic

Vienna Picnics curates bespoke luxury picnics at handpicked locations throughout the city - elegantly styled and fully taken care of. Fine Viennese bites, chilled champagne, and an instant camera round out the experience. Should the weather turn, the Vienna Picnics Studio offers a stylish indoor alternative. Suitable for groups of up to 20 people.

Cooking and baking classes

A shared cooking or baking experience is more than just a treat - it sparks creativity, strengthens collaboration, and builds team spirit in a genuinely enjoyable setting. Specialized providers across Vienna offer exclusive classes centered around Viennese cuisine, from classic savory dishes to the art of traditional pastry-making.
A standout option is the granny baking studio by Vollpension, a Viennese social business where seniors share their lifelong baking expertise. In sessions of up to three hours, participants master iconic Viennese pastries - from Sachertorte and apple strudel to Buchteln.
