Startups, organizations, investors and tech enthusiasts will come together for the eight-day program in Vienna or online. The focus is on environmental and social topics as well as women as business leaders. ViennaUp'22 will be complemented by events on life sciences, manufacturing, ICT, FinTech and the creative industries – areas in which Vienna already plays an important role internationally. A total of around 30 mainly local but also international program partners will be organizing more than 60 individual events. The participants can look forward to an unforgettable Vienna experience in addition to the festival content.

Highlights of ViennaUp'22

With the conference "Lead Today - Shape Tomorrow" ViennaUp puts female entrepreneurs and founders in the spotlight. This event alone, the largest European event for women business leaders, will feature 40 speakers. The largest global startup competition makes a stop in Vienna with "Startup Worldcup". Social and ecological sustainability as well as smart city strategies will also be on the agenda: at the Sustainable Blockchain Hackathon, the Impact Days at the Hofburg and the Smart City Summit, which will focus on the question of how cities can remain livable in the future.

Innovation meets tradition

Vienna skillfully combines tradition and modernity – and this is also the case at ViennaUp.  Among other things, Viennese coffeehouse culture plays an important role. In four Viennese coffeehouses, which can confidently be described as the first co-working spaces, meeting zones will be set up for the international business public. 

This year, the "ViennaUp Homebase" on Karlsplatz will serve as the central meeting point. It offers space to network, relax or even taste a glass of Viennese wine.
