HR Inside Summit: trade show and networking platform
After being forced to skip a year due to the pandemic, the HR Inside Summit returned for the sixth time on 13 and 14 October, bringing together 1,500 in-person participants at the HOFBURG Vienna. HR experts from a wide range of companies as well as numerous service providers and consultants from the industry were among those who took up the invitation to attend the event.
The HOFBURG Vienna – an out-of-the-ordinary venue brimming with imperial charm – provided the perfect setting for the event, as well as the ideal infrastructure. With a strict Covid-19 prevention plan in place, the HR Inside Summit played out across some 3,500m² of space.
Trends and challenges
The prestigious two-day event is the most important get-together for the Austrian HR management community. Set up as a crossover between a trade show and networking platform, it facilitates knowledge transfer between leading industry experts, as well as peer-to-peer information exchange on all the latest challenges in the sector.
The latest staff development trends dominated proceedings. Numerous highly topical focuses related to digitalization, innovation and the myriad impacts of the pandemic on contemporary working environments – such as hybrid models, diversity, transformation, agile leadership and reboarding – also featured prominently and were extremely well received by participants.
Participants at the HR Inside Summit also had access to a wide range of keynotes and workshops. Austrian and international HR experts shared their knowledge with the community live in engaging keynotes and podium discussions on working models of the future, in-house trainees and sustainable employer branding. Interactive sessions and pop-up workshops were also offered.
For the fifth time this year, the coveted HR Award was presented at a gala held on the first night of the HR Inside Summit. The prize is awarded in six different categories in recognition of outstanding ideas, innovative project and exceptional HR-industry contributors.
