Climate Protection Tours

The Austria Guides For Future take you to places and projects in Vienna that focus on urban greening, climate adaptation and sustainable urban development. You will learn about measures and developments intended to contribute to improving the urban climate and the quality of life in the city.

The tours focus on current developments and specific initiatives. You will learn how the city is addressing the challenges of climate change and how past developments continue to shape Vienna today, connecting history and culture with current climate- and environmental topics.
Choose from a wide range of tailor-made tours that can be adapted to your interests and focus areas. Discover urban cooling concepts and mobility projects with clearly defined environmental or climate-protection objectives in the city centre. Explore Vienna's historic neighbourhoods, where greening and community projects are being implemented. Visit Seestadt Aspern, one of Europe's largest urban development areas and a site for innovative urban development and smart-city projects.
