Prize 

To show our gratitude for the time you spent for taking part in our perception study, we are giving away ten sweet surprises from Vienna. These include cakes and typical Viennese sweets.  

Requirements for participation  

Only persons who have completed the perception study on Meeting Destination Vienna in full, provided all required data in the competition form and accepted the relevant conditions of participation are eligible to take part in this prize draw. Winners must be natural persons who have reached the age of 18. Employees of the Vienna Tourist Board and partner agencies involved in our perception study are not eligible to participate. 

Prize draw procedure and duration

The prize draw starts on February 20 and runs until April 30, 2025, after which the winners will be drawn by the Vienna Tourist Board and informed by e-mail. The winners have 7 days to respond to the prize notification and confirm their acceptance of the prize. If no response is received within these 7 days, the prize will be redrawn. The prizes will be organized by the Vienna Tourist Board and sent by post. The prizes will be allocated to the winners at random. The prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. However, the prizes can of course be shared :)

Organizer of the prize draw

This prize draw is organized by the Vienna Tourist Board, Invalidenstrasse 6, 1030 Vienna, Austria.

Applicable law 

The competition is subject exclusively to Austrian law. The place of fulfillment and jurisdiction is Vienna. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and international conflict of laws rules is excluded.

Legal recourse and liability

Any legal recourse shall be excluded. There shall be no enforceable claim to win the prize. The organizer shall not be responsible or liable in any form for direct or indirect damages resulting from the participation in the prize draw or non-availability of the Internet server, provided that these damages are not caused by the organizer, its legal representatives, employees or subcontractors due to grossly negligence or wilful intent. Moreover, the organizer shall not be liable for any data loss, in particular during data transfer and other technical defects, influencing the final result of the competition or the participation in the game.

Data protection

By participating in this prize draw, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for the purpose of conducting and managing the prize draw and for notification in the event of a win. The data of the participants will be processed by the Vienna Tourist Board exclusively for the organization and fulfillment of the prize draw (Art 6 para 1 lit b, c and f GDPR). The participants' data will only be processed for the duration of the prize draw and then deleted immediately - unless the participants expressly consent to the storage of the data and contact for other purposes.  

The winners' data will be deleted after the statutory retention period of 10 years has expired. Withdrawal of consent to the processing of data before the end of the prize draw will result in its exclusion. Data will only be passed on to third parties in the case of winners' data and only to cooperation partners or service providers who work for the Vienna Tourist Board in the context of processing the prize (e.g. partner agencies, whereby corresponding (data protection) information will be provided as part of the announcement of the prize).
